Here we have one of three 1930's three piece suits from a military Gentleman. The three suits are the perfect examples of the classic English three button suit favoured by Savile Row through the heyday of tailoring and by military officers throughout the 20th century. The jacket features the long body close three button cut, double vents, wide 30's lapels, curved sleeve and twill lining. The trousers are of course high waisted with a full pleated cut, cinch back, tapered leg and turn ups.
The trousers haven't been altered at all and the suit is a nice regular fit. The cloth is a superb thick houndstooth in off white and brown. Just an amazing suit and archetypal of the time. Unaltered, original.

Length from top of collar - 35
