Bishops / Ecclesiastical Lock and Co. silk top hat size 7

On offer here we have an exceptionally rare silk top hat made for a Bishop. The hat differs with its side cords, rosette and bow. There are images and explanations of this online but they were for Bishops, to distinguish them from the common man. The hat was made by Locks and seems to be quite old judging by the older style fine silk lining and shape. The hat has a real rakish brim and stove pipe side profile, not really seen clearly in images. 

 The hat has a little wear on the bra but we've found in the past that a little black suede spray hies the discolouration nicely, although there must be more professional ways to do this. The hat is slightly out of shape on the brim but we had a go with a steamer and it halfway came back so I'm sure that with a little more time and a makeshift jig it would come right back to original. Non original half box included.
