Edwardian victorian hunt hunting grey waistcoat size 36 38

For sale here is a very unusual fine box cloth scoop front waistcoat with braided trim and equestrian themed buttons. Initially we though that this was military but the red dye under the arms, buttons and the dirt marks on the creases ( from sitting) make this hunting.

Condition - Good, the back and lining are not original but relatively old and well done. On the inner of the rear adjuster band is written ' major Smith, 14/8/1960. Which is presumably when it was relined.
