Antique Victorian single breasted frock coat size 38
This is a very early single breasted frock coat made from a box cloth type wool, very much like you find on pre ww2 military kit. The lining is what you may call a satin cotton with cotton sleeves. This is a particularly early example and probably the earliest we currently have in stock, hard to date but certainly pre 1900.
Measurements
Sleeve - 24.5
Shoulder - 18
Length from top of collar - 37.5
Chest - 19.5
Fit - 38 reg, over a shirt.
Condition - Excellent for the age, slight wear to the buttons and an off colour mark on the rear left shoulder, nothing really for the age.
