Hawes & Curtis bespoke navy 1950's style suit size 38 40

For sale is a very classic looking two button, almost 50's cut navy suit by Hawes & Curtis, when they were making nice quality bespoke suiting. The suit features working cuff, hand finishing and hand sewn button holes. The cloth is a navy hopsack, relatively heavy. Sorry the trouser images disappeared , they are flat fronted with side adjusters. There are other near identical suit from the same gentleman listed under ' Hawes' if you would like to see the shape .

 Sleeve - 25

 Shoulder - 18

 Length from top of collar - 31

 Chest - 21

 Trsousers - 34 ( originally a 32) x 32" with turn ups. 

Fit - 40 reg although it was originally closer to a 38 and so can't go any larger.  

Condition - Excellent  , a tiny hole on the upper left arm and also a little discolouration on the armpit lining area, no smell .
