Suit

 For sale here is a very rare black wool twill suit dating from around 1920-25 but to be honest its a tricky one to date. The suit features a distinct curved cutaway below the bottom button and a low three button cut. This really isn't a 30's style at all but the wide lapel is. The suit is most likely from around 1920 and is quite a basic item in terms of manufacture and price point as the sleeve and trouser lining is a simple cotton and there are no frills beyond internal pockets. That said... that is pretty rare in itself and the condition is just superb so it adds up to quite a rare item. 

 The trousers are a high waisted brace button style with straight leg and no turn ups.

 Length including collar - 28.5

 Armpit to armpit - 20"

 Trousers - 35 (+2) x 30 (+0)

Fit

 A 39 reg although the waist is relatively large and the leg slightly short. Or more accurately the sleeve is long for the suit which is on the short side.
