A very rare and very early example of a black tie jacket. This is surely the earliest we've ever had and is quite unique. The lapels are silk and inset, covered buttons of course, no breast pocket, silk lining, typical rounded edge pocket flaps ?( pre jetted pockets on dinner jackets) and a large label in the neck all put this right at the turn of the century.
