Vintage bespoke 1972 heavy tweed suit size 40
A real robust tweed suit by Halls Brothers with twill lining and two button working cuff .
Measurements
Sleeve - 25
Shoulder - 17.5
Length from top of collar - 34
Chest - 20.5
Trousers - 36 ( 2" spare) x 30 ( 2 " spare)
Fit - 40 reg
Condition - Initially looks good because the check hides the numerous moth holes which become apparent as you look more closely. In addition there is a large repair and further holes on the outside of the left leg. Repairable and other than the obvious holes its in really nice condition. Not a suit for ' best' but a good solid country suit with a few small repairs.
