Vintage bespoke Edwardian Victorian evening tails suit size 38 40 long
For sale here is a very very rare bespoke evening tails suit from around 1900, maybe earlier with the high waisted, taped top, flat fronted and tapered leg trousers you so rarely see. What is also interesting the lack of formal stripes on the trouser as this is pre stripe necessity in formal wear and they were not added later. The tailcoat has a wonderful curved slim lapel though its not a shawl but a modest peak. the lining is silk.

Condition - Excellent for the age. There is a slightly strange dart in the right thigh and a little light wear here and there .
