A very special pair of vintage flat fronted morning trousers by Hoggs with taped waist band and full leg. 1940 is late in the day for a pair of flat fronted trousers but of course not everyone goes with the fashions. The star of the show here is the cloth, we've seen this a couple of times before but never in good condition, and these are superb. Its a chunky soft wool with a real presence. Unaltered. 

Measurements

  Waist - 42 ( 2" spare)

  Length - 32 but they've been folded to 30.5 before and the fold line has some wear to the rear, so without a repair 30" is the max. They would be fine as is or better with a few carefully placed stitches to fill in the light grey cloth. 

  Outside leg - 45 at max. 

  Hem - 20

Condition - Excellent, apart from the wear mentioned and a double hole on the rear of the left lower leg. This needs a patch, but it is the only one, otherwise very little use by the looks of it.
