For sale here is a very rare three piece by ' Nutters ' of Savile Row. The history of Nutters and Tommy Nutter / Edward Sexton is slightly complicated but essentially the two started the shop in the 60's and this label is the early label from when they had a bespoke shop on Savile Row but after Tommy Nutter had left to start a ready to wear range through Austin Reed and work for Kilgour French & Stanbury as a tailor and Sexton was tailoring the bespoke clothing at Nutters.
The suit is a faintly striped petrol blue three piece in elegant two button cut with working cuff, turn ups, side adjuster trousers, brace buttons and melton backed waistcoat button row.
Shoulder - 19"
Length - 32.5"
Chest - 23"
Trosuers - 38 + 3 x 32.5 with a 19.5" hem, so boot cut.
Measures like a 44 but feels like a slim one, slightly longer than average but only just.
Superb, it really feels like new.No wear or damage. There is a very faint mark ( looks worse in photos) on the jacket and one on the waistcoat, although the waistcoat mark is hidden when fastened.
