Vintage 1920's Royal livery footman tailcoat size 38 40

For sale here is a really beautiful livery footmans tailcoat with regency / early Victorian style collar shape, working cuff, hidden tail pockets,  canvas sewn buttons, silk velvet collar, silk twill lining and of course hand sewing. The material is a fine woven doe skin or ' box cloth'. The buttons are George V and sewn into the canvas. This means that this was a Royal livery coat to a man working at the palace for George V. No label but obviously of the finest tailoring of that era, probably earlier in his reign.

 Chest - 20

Fit - 38 shoulder and a 40 body. 

Condition - Excellent , amazing for the age, hardly used. The only issue is that the silk sleeve linings have had enough.
