Vintage purple wool doe skin jacket and waistcoat nulli secundus size 46 long
For sale here is an unusual heavy plum purple wool jacket and waistcoat with ' nulli secundus ' buttons, approximately 1960. This is the motto of the coldstream guards and there were other large clothes from a military man in with a batch we recently bought. Therefore it is logical to assume that the two pieces were worn as part of a civilian outfit by guardsmen. We recently had a nulli secundus tailcoat which was worn for smart dinners and social events.
