1920's bespoke Hunt tailcoat size 38 long

For sale here we have a beautiful example of a vermillion red hunt tailcoat with matching inset lapels in silk. The coat features hand sewing, hand sewn button holes and working cuff as you may expect and really is a master class in mens garment construction. 

 We highly suspect that this belonged to Sir Charles Lowther, 4th Baronet as it was the same source and same size as another tailcoat with a tailors label in. Which would date this to the post WW1 period, pre 1925 probably.

shoulder - 16.5

length - 44

Armpit to armpit  - 19

Fit - 38 long

Condition - Excellent, there are some minor blemishes and the silk facings will need replacing soon as they've just started to tear .
