1972 Tommy Nutter Nutters three piece navy suit size 40

For sale here we have a beautiful example of Nutters doing a ' normal ' suit. its subtle but its still iconic Nutters, with wide lapel, very deep pocket flaps, a very nice geometric weave wool cloth, long vents and flat fronted boot cut trousers. The balance of this suit is just fantastic ( it fits me and I had a Quick Look in the mirror !) . 

  The suit features hand sewing, working cuff and hand sewn button holes as you may expect.  A subtle but really on point example of their early 70's work.   

 The suit belonged to RHD Colt, caught early in WW2 and taken to the infamous Colditz POW camp, referred to as oflag IV-C. See images.

Trs - 36 ( originally a 34)  x 31 with 2" spare

Fit - 40 reg

Condition - Superb. The only blemish are the lines left from the trouser expansion but of course these will disappear if taken back to their original size.
