1901 silk velvet court dress uniform size 40 long plus boys suit

For sale here we have a beautiful court dress uniform by Turner Bros of Bath. Made for G.E Phillips, Lord of bath. Included in the sale is a boys suit, with hat, worn by the Lord's son. So much to say about this amazing piece of history but you can see for yourself without us waffling on. 

 N.B the hat isn't the original one and has a crack on the right side, but is by Henry Poole and is in presentable condition. Also included are the gloves and black feathers. The boys hat is also included, a real gem. 

 The boys suit is for a boy around 6 years old.

sleeve - 26.5

shoulder - 17

length - 41

Armpit to armpit  - 20

Bloomers - 38 ( 2" spare) x 21 

Fit - 40 long although they have a larger waist proportionately, all of these court suits are cut like that though.  

Condition - Amazing really. The Childs waistcoat has gone but otherwise superb apart from a few minor marks and the crack to the bicorn.
