Welsh & jefferies mohair teddy boy Edwardian style suit size 42 44

For sale here we have a really really rare teddy boy mohair mix suit by Welsh & Jefferies from 1987. Although this isn't from the original Ted phase, or even its revivals you would assume that the man having this made at Welsh & Jefferies in 1987 was a pretty dedicated Ted, quite possibly one of the originators of the look back in the Chelsea guards officer phase. The suit features a four button single breasted cut with velvet collar and ( almost) flat fronted trousers . A wonderful item from obviously a very snappy dresser.

sleeve - 25.5

shoulder - 18

length - 33

Armpit to armpit  - 22

Trs - 40 ( originally a 38) x 32 ( 2" spare) 

Fit - slim 44 although the trousers have been taken out a little.  

Condition - Very good, there is a small hole to the front right hem . It's not photographed specifically but if you look at the front images and zoom in its directly below the cuff. It needs a small patch from behind but it isn't very prominent so doesn't really need an invisible mend.
