Huntsman 1974 bespoke grey striped suit size 38 reg

On offer here we have a stylish orange / red striped mid grey Huntsman suit made in 1974 in a subtle but also typically early 70's shape. The suit features a working cuff, proprietary purple stripe lining, hand sewing and hand sewn button holes but also some nice features of cut. The jacket is a late 60's three button shape with a relatively wide lapel seen in the early 70's, with long double vents, belt loops and flat fronted trousers. Beautiful example of early seventies style made on Savile Row. 

 This is also one of those suits where the cloth is a perfect match for the cut: a Birdseye weave grey wool with orange stripe, subtle but 70's.

sleeve - 25.5

shoulder - 17.5

length - 32

Armpit to armpit  - 20

Trs - 34 ( 1" spare, originally a 33) x 32" inside leg with 2" spare.

Fit - 38 reg originally but no the trousers are slightly larger in the waist. The alteration would have been performed by Huntsman. 

Condition - Excellent, no wear or damage.
