Huntsman Cavalry twill Savile Row overcoat size 42

For sale here we have an exceptional Huntsman heavy cavalry twill Chesterfield overcoat from 1979. You just can't buy this quality material now, the weight, feel and colour are just in a different league. On the topic of fabrics...you have a medium weight bemberg/silk twill in the upper body lining, wool checked lower lining, brushed cotton pocket lining, heavy silk pocket upper lining, melton rear pocket flap and felt behind the collar. Again, you just don't get that now. Furthermore the coat features full hand sewing, hand sewn button holes, working cuff and top stitching. A coat beyond anything available from any tailor now.

Condition - As new really other than perhaps a a slightly dirty fold on the upper lapel. this look much worse in the images because the camera is picking up the fold line. In reality you don't notice it and may well disappear with a dry clean. Spare button will be sewn back on before postage, it popped off when photographing.
